Pinghu Zhongcun Case-Making Co., Ltd. is adjacent to the Pudong District in Shanghai with close access to the Nanjing-Shanghai-Hangzhou expressway. As one of the biggest cases and bags producers around Shanghai since its establishment in June 1993, we have constructed a 25,000 square meter workshop on a total land area of 40,000 square meters. Owning fixed assets of over USD2,500,000, Zhongcun employs 1,100 workers and has 2 branch factories providing raw materials for production. We record an annual productivity of over 4,000,000 luggage cases and annual production value exceeded USD13,000,000 in 2002. Having passed ISO9001 and 14001 quality management authentication, production is completed with 550 various sewing machines, 90 imported riveting machines, 8 Mitsubishi computer-aided machines, 5 hydraulic pressure cutting machines and 110 sets of associated equipment. We mainly produce assorted trolley bags, soft cases, briefcases, satchels, backpacks and knapsacks. 50% of production is exported to Europe, 25% to Australia, 10% to the USA, 5% to Japan with the remaining 10% exported to other countries and regions.
